Jeremiah 6:5-7

5 Arise, and let us go up by night
And [a](A)destroy her [b]palaces!”
6 For thus says Yahweh of hosts,
“(B)Cut down her trees
And cast up a (C)siege against Jerusalem.
This is the city to be punished,
In whose midst there is only (D)oppression.
7 (E)Like a well [c]keeps its waters fresh,
So she [d]keeps fresh her evil.
(F)Violence and devastation are heard in her;
(G)Sickness and wounds are continually before Me.
